Yes, he is finally playing like the most talented baseballer in the world, yet the controversy that follows Alex Rodriguez never goes away. Ever.

A controversial home run that literally struck a camera hanging over the field was reviewed by replay last night, of course hit by A-Rod.

But the best A-Rod news yesterday, especially if you hate to admit he has been simply awesome this post-season (*raises hand*), was the revelations of an ex-girlfriend.

This girl said that Alex has two paintings of himself as a centaur hanging in his house. It's tough to decide whether thats more weird than vain or vain than weird, but regardless of classification it is a unmitigated riot. Love it.

Reddick raps

Yes, former Duke star J.J. Reddick, is rapping. Seriously, a white kid from Duke is going rap. Even The Onion couldn't dream that one up.

Starbury has lost his damn mind

No one thought it was a good idea for troubled Stephon Marbury is sit out this season if he intends to continue his NBA career. It didn't take long to prove that Starbury is not going to do well with his copious free time.

He bought a front row seat to the Knicks home opener last night. Once the game started, he pulled out a video camera and started filming the action. This included even standing up during play, blocking the view for everyone behind him.

And if that's not strange enough for you, he was sitting in the wrong seat. When asked to move at the end of the first quarter, he left the arena. Bizarre, to say the least. This is not going to end well.

Manu vs Bat

A bat flew onto the court during last night's Kings vs Spurs game. A bat on Halloween. Really. Most of the players freaked out, but not Manu Ginobili, who whacks it out of mid-flight in a sort of migayi-fly-chopsticks Zen fashion. Spooky.
