It is always fun and quite the learning experience to look at how people find this web site via Google. Folks search for the darndest (and sometimes the scariest too) things. Here is a taste of what they searched for in 2009 and landed at Werd, Yo!.

The 2009 winner by a huge margin was "Veronica Belmont Cleavage." Lonely basement dwellers just cannot get enough of an attractive World of Warcraft playing geek girl with supple breasts and ample cleavage and a brain. Veronica Belmont owns all the internets and clogs the tubes as she pleases. It is Veronica`s web; she just lets us use it. Clearly.

A distant second, but still a commanding lead on the rest of the searches, was "Nina Stauffer". She is a Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleader and ridiculously good-looking.

After Nina, there is another huge drop off and then things get kind of muddled. Not a big difference in the frequency of the next few hundreds unique strings, but to name a few generalized terms that had lots of variations:

But some of the very most entertaining were only searched for once. And uniqueness is quite often an indicator of unintentional comedy genius.

My personal favorite: "ghostcrawler is a faggot." Now, we never said that on this site. But we did write a piece on Larry Johnson getting cut after calling a reporter a faggot. Both words do appear on the archive page. Google put two and two together and POW! LULZ.

And then there are the real freaks, who came here looking for "naked navi", the fictitious indigenous humanoid species that live on the world of Pandora in the James Cameron suckfest known as Avatar. Are these the same people that look at anime porn and play on RP servers? Well, you and your Spock ears and your +5 dexterity vest will not find any nude navi here, sorry. Now go back to pretending you are an immortal elf lord saving Middle Earth, Mr. Frodo. (And yes, it was me breaking your immersion!)
